US version of Customer Net launched!
The Calderys Customer Net is an extensive refractory resource full of product information, a unique thermal calculation tool, and more — but our valued customers in the United States were rightfully asking us when they could have an option to switch from metric to US measurements.
We are happy to report that the time is now: the Calderys Customer Net now has a full version tailored for United States measurements!
The interface is simple: you just switch as you prefer from metric (°C / mm) to US (°F / inch) version using a toggle switch on the top right of the screen.
The "switch" is particularly useful for 2 areas of the Customer Net:
- In the Product Search by Characteristics you can search by maximum temperatures in °F and grain size in mesh to find interesting data sheets
- The Thermal Calculator tool now accepts temperatures in °F and refractory thickness in inches, with a PDF export of the heat transfer calculation reflecting these measurements
