Coreless Induction Furnace

The Coreless Induction Furnace, commonly known as CIF, is an effective furnace type for remelting clean scrap and processing difficult aluminium alloys (such as lithium containing alloys) as well as master alloys. Top performing refractory solutions for this equipment need to strike a balance between the speed of relining and refractory performance. Multiple refractory installation techniques are possible: the best-known are DVM (dry vibrating mix), wet ramming mass, and precast crucible. The Coreless Induction Furnace, commonly known as CIF, is an effective furnace type for remelting clean scrap and processing difficult aluminium alloys (such as lithium containing alloys) as well as master alloys. Top performing refractory solutions for this equipment need to strike a balance between the speed of relining and refractory performance.
