Holding Furnace

The holding furnace takes a key role in the modern foundry production environment. Containing large amounts of completely alloyed metal ready for transfer to casting stations, holding furnaces are typically the foundry's bottleneck requiring highly reliable refractory lining concepts that exhibit superior properties with respect to both corrosion resistance and thermal insulation. Calderys offers a wide product range for all sizes of holding furnaces for steel, iron, and non-ferrous alloys, including the lining of the commonly used channel inductor. Our main focus lies on the castable and dry vibrating technologies that both allow you to significantly reduce the energy needed per tonne of metal.
