Our range of silica-based refractories produced from our own Swedish quartzite is made from the highest grade of raw material in the world.

Its excellent thermal stability and chemical resistance make it the perfect lining for DVM (dry vibrating mix) and inductors. The Spinel-forming DVM product line is a longstanding industry benchmark for steel CIF and uses raw materials with high refractoriness and all-round corrosion resistance.

This unique quarry-to-furnace model ensures high reliability and quality. Calderys also benefits from dependable, consistent access to other essential raw materials for foundry refractories.

Containing large amounts of completely alloyed metal ready for transfer to casting stations, holding furnaces are typically the foundry's bottleneck requiring highly reliable refractory lining concepts that exhibit superior properties with respect to both corrosion resistance and thermal insulation. Calderys offers a wide product range for all sizes of holding furnaces for steel, iron, and non-ferrous alloys, including the lining of the commonly used channel inductor.
